Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us about using this platform to send and sign documents.

What this service does
We let you upload a document, decide who has to sign it and where, and send it to them. We verify each signer with a one-time code before recording their signature, seal the finished document, and attach a certificate of completion describing everything that happened.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password and API tokens to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access.
You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live.
What you may not do
Some of this is obvious. It is written down anyway.
- Send documents to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
- Upload anything you do not have the right to send, or anything unlawful.
- Impersonate somebody else, or ask a recipient to sign as somebody they are not.
- Attempt to reach documents or accounts that are not yours.
Electronic signatures
Electronic signatures are legally recognised in many jurisdictions, and the evidence we collect is designed to support that. But whether a particular signature is binding depends on your jurisdiction, the kind of document, and the circumstances.
Some documents cannot be signed electronically at all in some places — wills and certain property transfers are common examples. Deciding whether an electronic signature is appropriate for a given document is your responsibility, not ours.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right you have in the documents you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only so far as is needed to provide the service — sending them, rendering them, sealing them and keeping the record.
Plans and payment
Each plan carries limits on how many documents you can send, how many recipients each can have, and how much you can store. The limits that apply are the ones on your current plan.
Changing plans changes what you can do next. It does not take away work you have already done.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and will tell you about planned interruptions where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for losses caused by an interruption beyond refunding the affected period.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that is being used for anything in the list above, and will tell you why unless doing so would be unlawful.
Documents already signed remain valid and verifiable after an account closes. That is deliberate — a contract does not stop being a contract because somebody cancelled a subscription.
